About Pradeep K. Singh

Pradeep Singh, M.D., is a critical care physician at the General Pulmonary Clinic at UW Medical Center, director of the UW Cystic Fibrosis Research and Development Program and a UW professor of Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and Microbiology.

Dr. Singh specializes in the care of critically ill patients in the intensive care unit and cystic fibrosis patients. He finds working with patients with serious, multi-system diseases to be very rewarding.

Dr. Singh earned his M.D. at Northwestern University, Chicago. He was awarded a Midcareer Investigator Award in Patient-Oriented Research from the NIH. He is also a recipient of a Burroughs Wellcome Fund Clinical Scientist Award in Translational Research, and was elected to the American Association of Physicians. His research is focused on chronic infections, particularly those that afflict patients with cystic fibrosis.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Singh enjoys hiking, bluegrass and old-time music.
