BiographyPhillip Fleckman, M.D., is a board certified physician and medical director at the Dermatology Clinic at UWMC Roosevelt, acting chief of Dermatology at the Veterans Administration Puget Sound and a UW professor of Dermatology and Medicine.
Dr. Fleckman enjoys interacting with people with difficult disorders, making informed and joint decisions about how to approach their problem, and making them better.
Dr. Fleckman earned his M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. His clinical and research interests include blistering skin diseases, inherited scaling skin diseases (the ichthyoses), disorders of the nails and general dermatology. He enjoys teaching students and residents interested in dermatology and skin biology.
Personal InterestsIn his free time Dr. Fleckman enjoys relaxing with his wife, reading, jogging, sailing and listening to baseball and college football.
