Biography

Peter Billing, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board-certified surgeon at Puget Sound Surgical Center and co-investigator of a National Institute of Health supported grant with the Fred Hutch Cancer Center and the University of Chicago studying the cellular changes post-bariatric surgery.

The heart of Dr. Billing's practice is providing restorative care through a multidisciplinary team approach. He believes that good patient care comes from a having a high quality team with a passion for excellence.

Dr. Billing is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications regarding his clinical and scientific interests.

Personal Interests

Dr. Billing enjoys overseas medical missions work and has completed several missions in Kenya and Haiti. In his leisure time he enjoys camping, hiking, reading, traveling and spending time with his family.
