Paul Nghiem, MD, PhD, is a board-certified physician at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center, chair of the Department of Dermatology at the UW School of Medicine and the George F. Odland Endowed Chair in Dermatology. He is also a professor in the Department of Dermatology, an adjunct professor in the Departments of Laboratory Medicine & Pathology and Immunology at the UW School of Medicine, and an adjunct professor of Oral Health Sciences at the UW School of Dentistry. 

Dr. Nghiem oversees a laboratory focused on the biology of skin cancer (www.pnlab.org). He likes to provide patients with as much information as they are comfortable with and engage them in the decision-making process regarding management options in caring for complex skin cancers.

Dr. Nghiem earned his M.D. and Ph.D. at Stanford. His clinical and research interests include dermatology, Merkel cell carcinoma, melanoma, graft versus host disease and complex skin cancer management in a multidisciplinary team. View a complete list of Dr. Nghiem's publications here.
