Dr. Manner's PA spent the most time with me for my appt. but Dr. Manner popped in to make sure all was OK, I appreciated that.

I liked the doctor and the physician's assistant very much. We had a wonderful dialogue about my [...]. They listened and responded to all my questions.
The session with Dr. Manner was excellent in that he described (and showed x-rays concerning) my problem. The nurse/assistant answered all of my questions. I said that blood pressure measurements using a writs wrap were known to be not very accurate. She said that that it would provide the necessary indications The scheduler was very efficient and provided me with all the information that I needed. The nurse assistant was [...] and the scheduler was [...].As an aside, a number of the prior questions seemed irrelevant and impossible to answer.
Dr. Manner is wonderful-straight to the point and very caring. He has done 2 surgeries for me and I trust him entirely.

Dr Paul Manner is not only an outstanding surgeon, he has replaced both my hips, a knee and I have recommended him to many friends, but he is most attentive and compassionate.
Dr. Manner did an excellent job on my bilateral knee replacement and over 12 years later the implants are still in good shape. The nurse was extremely helpful before my appointment and during. I appreciate Dr. Manner and his staff.

About Paul A. Manner
Paul Manner, MD, is a board certified surgeon at the Hip and Knee Center at Northwest Primary and Specialty Care and a UW professor of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
Dr. Manner specializes in joint replacement surgery, including minimally-invasive hip and knee replacement surgery. He strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Manner earned his M.D. at McGill University in Canada. His major clinical interest is care and treatment of osteoarthritis. His research interests include treatments for osteoarthritis and developing models of care (including cost-effectiveness models for minimally-invasive surgery).
Personal Interests
Dr. Manner enjoys rowing, skiing and travelling with family in his spare time.
