Dr. Paul James has been my family practice physician for many years. He is excellent. He has treated me for some serious medical conditions and been my advocate when I needed one. The UWMC is a difficult system is difficult to maneuver. It takes along time to get appointments with specialists. The Call Center is so FRUSTRATING!! I am a retired neurosurgery nurse practitioner who worked at all the UWMC hospitals and I had problems getting appointments. Dr. James had to help out and he ran into the same problem.
