Patricia Kritek, M.D., Ed.M., is a board certified physician at UW Medical Center, associate director of UW Medicine Critical Care, a UW professor of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and an associate professor of Medicine.

Dr. Kritek cares for patients in the medical ICU, surgical ICU and oncology/bone marrow transplant ICU. She is responsible for improving the care to all critically ill patients. She partners with all members of the interdisciplinary team to develop systems that reliably deliver outstanding care.

Dr. Kritek earned her M.D. from the University of Connecticut and her Ed.M. from Harvard. She is board certified in both Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. She is an active teacher of medical students, residents and fellows. Her clinical and research interests include mechanical ventilation, sepsis, patient and family centered care and quality care in the ICU.

Personal Interests

In her free time Dr. Kritek enjoys rowing, backpacking and cooking.
