Ousman Jaiteh is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner, current cardiovascular fellow and teaching associate in cardiothoracic surgery at UW Medical Center. He currently cares for chronic and acutely ill patients across the continuum of cardiovascular medicine in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
Dr. Jaiteh is well rounded in his practice by combining clinical experience with evidence-based practice and practice inquiry to provide quality and up to date care to his patient population. Teamwork and open communication with patients, families, and colleagues are paramount in his approach to care, so patients can make informed decisions and be active participants in their care.
His clinical interests include advanced heart failure, cardiovascular diseases, Cardiothoracic diseases, congenital heart defects, and mechanical circulatory support.
Jaiteh is interested in global health and a firm believer in work/life balance. He enjoys playing soccer, basketball, jogging, reading and traveling with family during his free time
