About Otway Louie
Otway Louie, MD, is a board-certified plastic surgeon, Medical Director of the Center for Reconstructive Surgery at UW Medical Center – Montlake, and an Associate Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at UW School of Medicine.
Dr. Louie specializes in reconstructive surgery including microsurgical reconstruction of the breast, head and neck. He believes that how a surgeon interacts with his patient pre- and post-operatively is just as important as his technical skills.
Dr. Louie’s research interests include clinical outcomes in microsurgical breast reconstruction and improving clinical and functional outcomes in oncologic reconstruction. He enjoys teaching both medical students and surgical residents in the operating room and in clinic.
