The resident MD explained the [...] procedure in great detail and drew diagrams for visual aide. Dr. Louie has a calm and gentle approach. I was excited to find out that he can perform nerve reconstruction because most micro surgeons don't provide that option. It opens up treatment options for the patients and shows his willingness to tailor his care to patient preference, which is very important from a patient perspective. The team also answered all my questions patiently. I left feeling confident about him, his team and the care they can provide.

It was clear that Dr. Louie read my chart and knew who I was. The fact that he knew I had an infection in my port last November and knew exactly why I was there and what my journey was during my chemotherapy was wonderful and showed that he really cares about what he does. I could not have felt more seen or more safe!

Dr. Louie is great! I just wish there was a lymphedema expert who coordinated care. Everyone stays in their "lane" and no one tracks the big picture of the problem.

The resident that was working with Dr. Louie was wonderful, and then Dr. Louie was even better! The explanations about the surgical procedure, possible complications, rates of complications, expectations for recovery were all thorough and easy to understand. I was doubting myself about seeking out this procedure but left reassured that I was making a good decision.

The care I've received from Dr. Louie and his team (during this and every visit) has been excellent and I would recommend them to anyone.
