Dr. Do comes from a fierce, strong family – a daughter of Vietnamese immigrants and proud older sister to two incredible brothers. They grew up in Boise, Idaho where they learned to navigate life with her brother’s medical complications after his diagnosis of encephalitis (treated here at SCH!). This set her life trajectory to become an advocate for children with disabilities. She then went off to Salt Lake City to attend Westminster College, a small liberal arts program, to obtain a degree in Biology before making her way to the University of Washington for medical school.
