Dr. Lam exudes kindness. [...] is a [...] year old developmentally disabled man that sees her for psych meds.
Dr. Lam is an Outstanding physician. I have seen here many times over many years. She's an expert in her field, and understands the impacts of disability on the daily life of her patients. She is an outstanding listener. She is very Accurate In her documentation and is good at Clinical Summaries (given the unfortunate situation of electronic medical records= where everything has been shortened, and it seems many Other Dr's only have memory for a few screens back of information). I have been coming to UWMC Neurology since 2004, and UWMC Medical Rehabilitation since 2006. I feel very honored to be able to receive care from Dr. Lam.
Dr Ny-Ying Lam was very thorough, knowledgeable, informative, thoughtful, kind and helpful. All of the support staff and healthcare professionals were amazing.
Dr Lam is the best physician I have experienced in years. She is on top of all my issues, details, and related appointments with other providers. Her demeanor is calm and reassuring. I feel heard and understand the plan going forward. Truly exceptional
I felt Dr Lam listened to me carefully and showed real concern in wanting to help me with my struggles, I didn't feel weird or ashamed about having trouble with my difficulties and it helped a lot to open up about it instead of trying to act like everything was ok
