Nicole Gibran, M.D., F.A.C.S., is a board certified physician, director of the UW Medicine Regional Burn Center at Harborview, the UW’s David and Nancy Auth Washington Research Foundation Endowed Chair for Restorative Burn Surgery, a UW professor of Surgery and Trauma & Burn, and an adjunct professor of Medicine and Dermatology.

Dr. Gibran's multi-disciplinary burn team are passionate about helping injured burn patients restore their lives and return to their pre-injury functional and psychological condition.

Dr. Gibran earned her M.D. at Boston University. Her clinical interests include burns, critical care and wound healing. Her research includes the role of nerves in wound repair, genetic influences on scarring and long-term functional outcomes following burn injuries.

Personal Interests

In her free time Dr. Gibran enjoys cooking, gardening and printmaking.
