Nerina McDonald, PA-C, is a physician assistant specializing in oncology. She received her Bachelors degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Vanderbilt, where she developed an appreciation for oncology and genetics, environmental factors and cellular mechanics that play a role in cancer. She has previous experience in lung cancer research, working in a lab that studied ALK fusions.

Nerina loves meeting new people every day and appreciates the opportunity to have important conversations with patients and their families regarding preferences and goals in treatment. She appreciates that no two cancers are exactly the same and neither are any two patients.
