About Nathan J. White
Nathan White, M.D., M.S., is a board certified physician in the Emergency Department at Harborview and a UW assistant professor of Emergency Medicine and adjunct professor of Bioengineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Dr. White especially likes to work in a fast-paced environment. As a physician, what excites him is to be able to care for patients quickly and compassionately in a team environment.
Dr. White earned his M.D. from Wayne State University in Detroit. He is a two-time recipient of the American Heart Association’s Resuscitation Science Young Investigator Award and a recipient of the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine’s Young Investigator Award. He was selected for an Andlinger Exchange Fellowship, sponsored by the American Austrian Foundation.
In addition to general emergency medicine, Dr. White conducts research on how to stop bleeding after major trauma.

In his free time Dr. White enjoys spending time with his family.
