About Namrata Singh
Namrata Singh, MD, MSCI, is a board-certified rheumatologist. Dr. Singh's clinical interests include rheumatoid arthritis, spondyloarthropathies, and systemic lupus erythematosus. She is also actively involved in clinical research and is funded by the Rheumatology Research Foundation and the American Heart Association.
Dr. Singh firmly believes in informed decision making as the diseases she manages are chronic and the involvement of the patients is crucial at every step in the management. She also strongly believes in the power of listening to the patients and practicing evidence-based medicine.
After fellowship graduation in adult rheumatology, Dr. Singh practiced at the University of Iowa as a rheumatologist for 6 years before moving to the University of Washington.
Personal Interests
When not working, Dr. Singh loves spending time with her family. She has two very active sons and her husband works as a surgeon. She loves to travel and dance.
