N. Jean Haulman, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified physician at the Travel Clinic at Hall Health on the UW campus and a UW assistant professor of Pediatrics.

Dr. Haulman is a vaccine expert and conducts clinical research related to student travel. She feels that all patients should actively participate in decision-making. After practicing medicine more than 30 years she knows that patients have all the answers if the right questions are asked and the provider listens.

Dr. Haulman earned her M.D. from UC San Diego. She earned her M.P.H. degree at the UW. She has served as the Campus Health Services director, sat on the Institutional BioSafety Committee and was the medical director of the Travel Clinic. Dr. Haulman is board certified in pediatrics and emergency medicine and is certified by the International Society of Travel Medicine.

Personal Interests

In her free time Dr. Haulman enjoys reading, piano playing, swimming and being with family.
