Biography

Mikhail Gelfenbeyn, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified neurological surgeon, Chief of Neurosurgery at Veterans Affairs Puget Sound Health Care System and a UW assistant professor of Neurological Surgery.

Dr. Gelfenbeyn strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Gelfenbeyn earned his M.D. at Moscow Second Medical Institute. He is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. His clinical interests include spine degenerative conditions and peripheral nerve conditions and his research interests include spine degenerative conditions.
