Mihai Puia-Dumitrescu, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified pediatrician at UW Medical Center and Seattle Children's Hospital and a UW assistant professor of Neonatology and Pediatrics.

Dr. Puia-Dumitrescu cares for critically ill infants. In partnership with parents, he is committed to providing the best care possible to their infants and children.

Dr. Puia-Dumitrescu earned his M.D. from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, and his M.P.H. at the University of Miami. His research focus includes neonatal clinical pharmacology, large epidemiologic analyses, and improving the health and outcomes of premature and critically ill infants.
