BiographyMichelle Chowdhary, M.D., is a neurosurgeon at Harborview and UW Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Neurological Surgery.
Dr. Chowdhary practices general neurosurgery with specialty interest in spine disorders, brain tumors, intraventricular pathology, Chiari malformation and syringomyelia. When it comes to her patients, she follows the UW Medicine "patients come first" philosophy. She also strives to provide care and surgeries that benefit her patient's well-being and quality of life.
Dr. Chowdhary earned her M.D. at Rush Medical College, Chicago. Her clinical and research interests include brain tumors, Chiari malformation, syringomyelia, intraventricular tumors and clinical education.
Personal InterestsIn addition to providing care for her patients, Dr. Chowdhary enjoys hiking, movies, reading and traveling.
