Biography

Michael Lenaeus, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified physician at UW Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of General Internal Medicine.

Dr. Lenaeus employs patient-centered care with a premium on communication with patients and their families, as well as members of their care team.

Dr. Lenaeus earned his M.D. and Ph.D. at Northwestern University in Chicago. His clinical and research interests include care of hospitalized patients, clinical reasoning, teaching students and medical residents and membrane proteins and ion channels.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Lenaeus enjoys being a father of two.
