Michael Dolezal, PhD, is a Clinical Psychologist who specializes in trauma psychology and rehabilitation psychology. His primary focus is helping individuals adjust and cope with acute or chronic illness or injury, as well as stressful or traumatic life events.

Dr. Dolezal takes a collaborative and patient-centered approach to patient care. He believes that patients are the experts in their own lives and experiences, and collaborates with patients to help them leverage existing skillsets and develop new skillsets to effectively navigate the current challenges they are facing. His main goal is to support patients in living a valued and meaningful life, as they define it. His clinical expertise include coping, adjustment, and adaptation following injury or illness, PTSD. Dr. Dolezal is also an Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation Psychology and Neuropsychology, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Washington.
