Michael deGroot, M.D., is a board certified radiologist at Northwest Hospital and Medical Center.
Dr. deGroot is an expert at minimally invasive image-guided surgery. He highly values each interaction with patients of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
Dr. deGroot completed a Sarnoff Fellowship at National Institutes of Health before earning his M.D. from University of Virginia. His clinical interests include vertebroplasty for compression fractures, uterine fibroid embolization, venous reconstruction, thrombolysis treatment for deep venous thrombosis and endovascular treatment of abdominal aortic aneurysm.
In his free time Dr. deGroot enjoys cooking, core fitness training, scuba, travel, human rights, home improvement and design.
