BiographyMelissa Lo, A.R.N.P., D.N.P., is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance and a UW teaching associate of Pediatric Hematology-Oncology.
Lo’s focus is pediatric bone marrow transplant in both the inpatient and outpatient settings under the supervision of the attending physician. Diversity and cultural awareness are the focal point of Lo’s mind, while the human condition is the focal point of her heart. Her goal is to provide care that is welcoming, supportive and provides peace of mind.
Lo received her medical education at the UW. Her clinical and research interests include pediatric bone marrow transplant care, long term follow-up, fertility preservation practice guidelines in pediatric oncology patients and surveying male cancer patient perspectives to improve patient support and education as they are offered sperm banking.
Personal InterestsIn her free time Lo enjoys running, yoga, hiking, cooking and traveling.
