Maya Rowland, MSW, LICSW, CTTS is a clinical social worker. She provides general social work support and resource navigation. With Virology, Maya provides case management services for adults living with HIV/AIDS.

Maya also has background working in palliative care & hospice, dementia, Huntington’s Disease, and developmental disabilities. She spent several years working at the University of Michigan in a dementia program and an HIV/AIDS clinic. She also completed an internship in hospice care at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Maya moved to Seattle after completing her MSW. She spent time working with inpatient palliative care, adult genetics, and the Huntington’s Disease Center of Excellence. She is now full-time with Virology & GIMC. Maya especially enjoys helping those with chronic or life-limiting diagnoses live meaningful and joyful lives.
