About Maureen A Koval
Maureen Koval, MD, is a board certified physician who specializes in urgent care. Dr. Koval listens to patient's concerns and helps craft a work up and course of treatment using shared decision making. Her goal is to combine evidence and experience-based care with patient education.
Dr. Koval's clinical practice includes evaluation of new illnesses, acute minor trauma care (head injuries, lacerations, fractures and sprains), urgent psychiatric issues and gynecologic and sexual health care. She also provides primary care for UW school of medicine WWAMI students across five states. Dr. Koval is also a faculty in the Department of Family Medicine at the University of Washington.
Personal Interests
Dr. Koval enjoys any outdoor time (hiking, biking, sailing) as well as reading good fiction.
