Mary Laya, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified physician at the Women's Health Care Center at UWMC-Roosevelt and a UW associate professor of General Internal Medicine.

Dr. Laya strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes. She enjoys helping my patients make informed health care decisions by providing them the most current medical information and advice.

Dr. Laya earned her M.D. at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska and her M.P.H. at the UW. Her clinical interests include comprehensive health care and health maintenance for women of all ages, breast disease, menopause and hormone replacement therapy issues.

In her free time Dr. Laya enjoys bicycling, kayaking, playing basketball and attending film and the theater
