Mary Horan, M.D., M.S., is a board certified physician, chief medical information officer and senior director of Clinical Informatics and a UW associate professor of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

Dr. Horan is very interested in helping people with chronic diseases live quality lives. She has also been involved with the application of new technologies to advance the practice of medicine in the hospital setting.

Dr. Horan earned her M.D. at the University of Vermont and her M.S. at the University of Colorado, Boulder. She is quadruple board certified in Clinical Informatics, Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Internal Medicine. She is a fellow the American College of Physicians and the American College of Chest Physicians and a diplomat in Clinical Informatics from the American Board of Preventative Medicine.

Personal Interests

In her free time Dr. Horan enjoys golf, skiing, flyfishing, supporting Seattle sports teams and escaping with family and friends to beautiful locations near and far.
