Mark Del Beccaro, M.D., is a board certified pediatrician and vice president of Medical Affairs at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Del Beccaro gets to shepherd kids and their families through a health crisis while helping to train future providers—all at the same time. In his administrative roles, he works with almost everyone in the Seattle Children's organization to provide the best possible care. He feels this is a privilege and a great honor.

Dr. Del Beccaro earned his M.D. from the UW. He is board-certified in General Pediatrics and Pediatric Emergency Medicine and is certified by the American Heart Association in PALS. He participates in many regional and national associations and is chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics’ Council on Clinical Information Technology. He speaks about medical informatics and clinical effectiveness and has an extensive bibliography.
