Maria Tretiakova, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified Pathologist and a UW associate professor of Pathology. She is the director of UW Medicine's Genitourinary Fellowship, clerkship director and co-chief of Service at Harborview Medical Center, an affiliate member of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and a member of the Renal Leadership Committee at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center. She also supervises the Immunohistochemistry Labs at UW Medical Center and Harborview.

Dr. Tretiakova's goal is to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic services to the urology community of the Pacific Northwest.

Dr. Tretiakova earned her M.D. and Ph.D. from St. Petersburg State Medical Academy in Russia. She is a fellow of the College of American Pathologists, US and Canadian Academy of Pathology, American Society of Clinical Pathology, NW regional pathology societies and the International Society of Urological Pathology. Her research interests include prostate, kidney and bladder cancer.
