Maria Caballero, PTA, is a physical therapist assistant at the UW Medicine Advanced Manual Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation Clinic at the UW Outpatient Medical Center.
She earned her BA in psychology at Gonzaga University, and her AAS from the Physical Therapist Assistant program at Lake Washington Institute of Technology. Maria's clinical interests include sports medicine, orthopedics, and manual therapy.
Maria has been a part of the AMT team since 2015 and has thoroughly enjoyed working alongside some of the best PTs in the business. She believes in a patient-centered approach to rehabilitation, focusing on individual goals that aim to return patients to their optimal function, and improving quality of life.
In her free time, Maria can be found cooking, spending time with her family, or traveling. As a Pacific Northwest native, Maria loves hiking, browsing the flower stands at Pike Place Market, and exploring the Seattle restaurant scene. She is also an avid fan of the Storm, Mariners, Seahawks, Sounders, and never misses an opportunity to cheer on her beloved Gonzaga Bulldogs.
