Margaret Vernon, M.D., is a board certified pediatric cardiologist at the Seattle Children's Hospital Prenatal Diagnosis and Treatment Program and the Children’s Bellevue outpatient cardiology clinic and a UW associate professor of Cardiology and assistant professor of Pediatrics.

Dr. Vernon has expertise in the prenatal diagnosis and management of congenital heart disease. She sees children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers, and strives to create active partnerships with her patients and their families to achieve the best possible results.

Dr. Vernon earned her M.D. at the University of Rochester, New York. Her research interests include improving the rate of prenatal diagnosis as well as the counseling received during the prenatal time.

Personal Interests

Dr. Vernon is a busy mom with two boys. She tries to find time to run, try new recipes, read for leisure and garden.
