Margaret J. Swift, A.R.N.P., F.N.P.-C., is a board-certified nurse practitioner in Neurosurgery at Harborview Medical Center.
Covering the night-time care role for the department, Swift's specialty includes neurosurgery with additional experience in primary care, urgent care and emergency services.
Swift believes in an integrated, holistic approach to improve results and foster trust between provider and patient. She feels it is so important to truly listen and seamlessly mingle patient goals with the health care team's goals to provide the best care and return to life outside the hospital.
Swift earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oregon Health Science University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Washington State University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
In addition to caring for patients, Swift enjoys spending time with her family and dog, photography, traveling and sea kayaking.
