About Margaret L. Isaac
Margaret Isaac, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Adult Medicine Clinic at Harborview and a UW associate professor of General Internal Medicine.
Dr. Isaac believes in patient-centered care and in a respectful partnership between physician and patient. Understanding patients' values, priorities, and the non-medical aspects of their lives is critical in helping provide optimal medical care.
Dr. Isaac earned her M.D. at the UW. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Palliative Medicine & Hospice. Her clinical and research interests include patient-physician communication, healthy lifestyle promotion with attention to diet and exercise, chronic disease management, palliative and end-of-life care and medical decision-making.
Personal Interests
In her free time Dr. Isaac enjoys spending time with family and friends, running, hiking, reading, cooking, gardening, and playing and listening to all types of music.
