Maralyssa Bann, M.D., is a board certified physician at Harborview and a UW instructor of General Internal Medicine.

Dr. Bann cares for patients admitted to the Hospital Medicine Service at Harborview. In addition to clinical duties, she supervises trainees including medical students and residents. She believes that her ability to provide quality medical care to the patients of Harborview is a special privilege. She feels it is especially meaningful to be able to forge a therapeutic relationship during a difficult time—being acutely ill—and assist someone with their health and healing.

Dr. Bann earned her M.D. at Johns Hopkins. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Medical Association, the Society of General Internal Medicine and the Society for Hospital Medicine. Her clinical and research interests include hospital medicine, preoperative evaluation, medical consultation and underserved population health.

In her free time Dr. Bann enjoys concerts, cooking and travel.
