Manizhe Eslami-Amirabadi, MD, is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in the diagnosis and management of cognitive, emotional and behavioral changes caused by neurological conditions, including but not limited to dementia and mild cognitive impairment.

Dr. Eslami-Amirabadi integrates evidence-based medicine with a patient-centered approach, ensuring that care is not only scientifically sound but also tailored to each individual’s needs and values. Her priority is patients’ well-being and dignity, while supporting the essential role of care partners and loved ones. She believes high-quality neurological care requires attention to medical outcomes, as well as quality of life, independence and resilience.

In addition to clinical practice, she remains actively engaged in advancing the field through research—with a particular interest in frontotemporal dementia and the ethical aspects of dementia care—and education. She is committed to improving the future of care for individuals living with cognitive disorders, including dementia.

Dr. Eslami-Amirabadi’s expertise includes frontotemporal dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, vascular cognitive impairment and subjective cognitive impairment. She is also an assistant professor of neurology and a member of the Memory and Brain Wellness team at the University of Washington.
