About Makoto Nagahama
Makoto Nagahama, MD, completed a fellowship in advanced heart failure and heart transplant at the University of Alabama from 2019 to 2020. He then completed a general cardiology fellowship at Lehigh Valley Health Network from 2020 to 2023, followed by a fellowship in electrophysiology at Loma Linda Medical Center, which he finished in June 2025.
Dr. Nagahama is a clinical assistant professor of cardiology at the University of Washington and medical director of cardiac electrophysiology at Harborview Medical Center. His approach to patient care centers on providing outpatient clinic services, performing cardiac implantable electronic device (CIED) implants, and conducting CIED and ablation procedures.
