About Mahmud Mossa-Basha
Mahmud Mossa-Basha, M.D., D.A.B.R., is a neuroradiologist in the Department of Radiology at UW Medical Center and a UW associate professor of Radiology.
Dr. Mossa-Basha’s has expertise in cerebrovascular imaging, vessel wall imaging of multiple vascular beds, atherosclerosis and vasculitis imaging and susceptibility weighted imaging. He is committed to doing what is best for his patients. By diligently and thoroughly evaluating their imaging studies, he can make the most accurate diagnosis and subsequently guide his patients’ care.
Dr. Mossa-Basha’s clinical interests include angiography, vessel wall imaging, cerebrovascular disease, spinal cord injury, susceptibility weighted imaging and diffusion tensor imaging. His research interests include vessel wall imaging, quantitative susceptibility mapping and diffusion tensor imaging of the spine.
Personal Interests
In his spare time, Dr. Mossa-Basha enjoys basketball, hiking and swimming.
