About Mahlet Assefa

Mahlet Assefa, MD is an internal medicine resident. Dr. Assefa grew up in Seattle, is a graduate of Yale University and obtained her medical degree at the University of Washington. She is dedicated to providing high quality and evidence-based patient care built on a trusting, compassionate patient-doctor relationship. A strong focus of her clinical interests includes caring for medically complex adults as well as identifying and addressing socioeconomic determinants of health.

Personal Interests

An avid reader, Dr. Assefa enjoys hosting book discussions in her home in addition to running, spending time with family and traveling.
