Mahesh Karandikar MD, PhD met with me virtually [...] Of concern was a nagging problem with my back and less Invasive surgery if it might be appropriate to my case. Dr Karandikar, having spent considerable time studying my case, advised me that I would not be a good cantidate for this type of treatment. He seemed very concerned about me and I was impressed with his diagnosis. I intend to pursue having surgery on my back as a result.

About Mahesh Karandikar
Mahesh Karandikar, MD is a board certified neurological surgeon and Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurological Surgery at UW School of Medicine.
Dr. Karandikar provides a full range of spine surgical care, from laminectomy to complex scoliosis surgeries. He is committed to providing the highest quality of care, including partnering with surgeons from other specialties to provide team based care. He is also interested in engaging patients in tracking their own short term and long term outcomes to the various degenerative spinal procedures.
