Luis Gonzalez-Cuyar, M.D., is a board certified pathologist and head of Neuromuscular Pathology at Harborview and a UW assistant professor of Pathology, associate director of the UW Neuropathology Fellowship and director of the UW Neuropathology Clerkship.
Dr. Gonzalez-Cuyar strives to provide the best in pathology services and enjoys teaching medical students.
Dr. Gonzalez-Cuyar earned his M.D. at the University of Puerto Rico. He is board certified in both Neuropathology and Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. His clinical interests include neuromuscular pathology, neoplasms of the brain, spinal cord and pituitary gland and ophthalmic pathology. His research interests and collaborations focus on neurotoxicity, neuro-oncologic pathology and neurovascular pathology.
In addition to practicing medicine, Dr. Gonzalez-Cuyar enjoys travel, outdoor activities and time with his family.
