About Lina Marie Brinker

Lina Brinker, MD, is an Advanced Heart Failure assistant professor who received her medical degree from the University of New Mexico in 2015. Dr. Brinker completed one year of anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2016 and then completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan in 2019. She served in a hospital appointment there for a year before coming to Utah. Dr. Brinker completed her Cardiovascular Disease and research fellowship under the T32 grant from the University of Utah.

Dr. Brinker believes in a team approach to patient care and providing the most current heart failure information so patients can make informed decisions. Her number one goal is helping patients live their best lives living with heart failure. Dr. Brinkers clinical expertise include management of heart failure and post-transplant.
