About Lily Christine Chang
Lily Chang, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon and Professor of Surgery at the University of Washington who specializes in general surgery. Dr. Chang is committed to providing empathetic, compassionate care to every patient, guided by the highest standards of clinical practice. She finds deep fulfillment in building relationships with her patients and helping them make the best decisions for their health. She is dedicated to expanding emergency general surgery services in our region.
Dr. Chang completed advanced training in minimally invasive surgery at the University of Washington, and has expertise in open, laparoscopic and robotic surgery. Her practice is focused on urgent/emergent surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, hernia repairs, and biliary surgery.
Personal Interests
Outside of her clinical and educational endeavors, Dr. Chang enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, skiing, and striving to hit her daily goal of 10,000 steps.
