About Lily Assaad

Lily Assaad, PhD, is a board-certified clinical psychologist who specializes in personality disorders, trauma-related disorders, and OCD. Dr. Assaad relies on gold-standard evidence based interventions and takes an active, behavioral stance to treating her patients, using regular assessment to measure their improvement.

Dr. Assaad's clinical expertise includes provision of standard (full model) Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD, Prolonged Exposure for PTSD, and Exposure and Response Prevention for OCD. She is also an Acting Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Washington.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Dr. Assaad enjoys hiking, playing with dogs, reading young adult fiction, and baking.
