Biography

Lester Permut, M.D., is a board certified surgeon at Seattle Children's Hospital, director of education for the Pediatric Congenital Cardiac Surgery Fellowship Program, program director of the Congenital Cardiac Surgery Residency Program, cardiothoracic surgery lecturer for the Anesthesiology and Pediatric Critical Care Fellowship Programs and a UW associate professor of Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery.

Dr. Permut is dedicated to providing the highest quality of family-centered care to children and young adults with congenital heart disease.

Dr. Permut earned his medical degree from Boston University. His clinical interests include pediatric cardiac surgery and complex congenital heart defects.

Personal Interests

In his spare time, Dr. Permut enjoys fly fishing, jogging and opera.
