Lauren Whiteside, M.D., M.S., is a board certified physician in the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Emergency Medicine.

As an emergency medicine physician, she enjoys working with all types of patients with a variety of healthcare concerns.

Dr. Whiteside’s clinical interests include emergency medicine, trauma and acute care. She conducts patient-centered research at the intersection of injury, substance use and mental health.

Personal Interests

In her free time Dr. Whiteside enjoys hiking, skiing and the outdoors.
