Laura Spece, M.D., is a board certified physician at UW Medical Center and an Acting Instructor of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. 

Dr. Spece is a pulmonary critical care physician and health services researcher. She enjoys working together with patients and families through chronic and critical illness. Her research focuses on the delivery of high-quality and high-value care to patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. 

Dr. Spece earned her bachelor's and master's degrees from the University of Pennsylvania and her M.D. from Pennsylvania State University. She completed residency and fellowship at the University of Washington.
