I have been to at least seven different kidney doctors. Dr. Mayeda Is the only one who has improved my condition. The others only managed what they all described as a progressive disease.

About Laura Mayeda

Laura Mayeda, MD, MPH, is a nephrologist and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at UW School of Medicine. Dr. Mayeda specializes in chronic kidney disease, hypertension, and kidney stones. Dr. Mayeda strives to connect and create a partnership with each patient.

Laura is the Director of the Hypertension Clinic at Harborview Medical Center. She is also the Medical Director of the Northwest Kidney Centers - Everett community dialysis clinic.

Personal Interests

Dr. Mayeda enjoys running, bicycle commuting, singing, and spending time with her family.
