About Kimberly Katz
Kimberly L. Katz, MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist and full-time faculty member in the Department of Dermatology at the University of Washington. She currently practices at the UW Medical Center–Roosevelt Dermatology Center and the Eastside Specialty Center. In addition to her outpatient practice, Dr. Katz is one of the dermatology faculty members who teaches trainees on the inpatient dermatology consultation service.
Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Katz completed her dermatology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. She also completed a postdoctoral fellowship focused on psoriasis and psoriatic disease under the mentorship of Kenneth B. Gordon MD.
She strives to be compassionate and accessible to patients, treating them as she would friends and family. Dr. Katz specializes in all aspects of medical dermatology including diagnosis, work up, and treatment of skin cancer and inflammatory skin conditions.
Personal Interests
In her time outside of work, Dr. Katz enjoys spending time with her family as a new mom, playing golf, and traveling.
