Dr. Roome is a proud South African, born and raised in Pretoria, and a newly minted American citizen! She loves to be outside in the sunshine - tennis, hiking, relaxing on the beach, you name it. She is an animal lover and have 2 cats, Tachy and Houdini, both of whom she rescued and love with all her heart. She went to the University of Georgia for undergrad (go dawgs!) where she was lucky enough to meet her partner, David. They both went to Emory for medical school and couples matched to UW (peds and IM)! They love Seattle and all the PNW has to offer, and can't wait to keep exploring.
