Katya Rubinow, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Endocrinology/Diabetes Clinic at Harborview and a UW assistant professor of Medicine and Metabolism, Endocrinology and Nutrition.

Dr. Rubinow she cares for patients with diabetes, thyroid disease and a broad spectrum of other endocrine disorders. She believes a good physician must first be a good listener. She strives to help patients feel supported and understood and to provide information that will enable them to be powerful advocates for their own health.

Dr. Rubinow earned her M.D. from Yale. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology. She is a member of the Endocrine Society and the American Heart Association. Her clinical and research interests include diabetes, thyroid disease, parathyroid disease, pituitary disorders, reproductive hormones, obesity, immune function in metabolic disease and sex steroid signaling in immune cells.

Personal Interests

In her free time Dr. Rubinow enjoys running, singing, hiking and travel.
